<p>You can make your own free standing bird perch for under $10.00! All you need is some PVC pipe<span id="more-68"></span> (the white plastic tubes you can buy in the plumbing section of any hardware store) and a handfull of various PVC connectors. The bird perch is sturdy, light weight, and can be easily broken down and resembled when traveling.</p>

<h2>Materials for your Bird Perch (small to mid sized bird)</h2>
<p>Essential materials- (everything here can be found at Lows or Home Depot for a total around $10)</p>
<ul>
<li>2 PVC pipes that are 10 feet long and 1 inch in diameter</li>
<li>1 PVC pipe that is 20 inches or londer and is 1/2 inch in diameter</li>
<li>4 PVC elbow connectors that are one inch in diameter</li>
<li>2 PVC T connectors that are one inch in diameter</li>
<li>2 PVC elbow connectors that go from 1 ich to 1/2 inch</li>
</ul>
<p>Optional materials-</p>
<ul>
<li>Spray Paint, make sure it says its meant for plastic (I got mine from Lows for about $5.00).</li>
<li>Bandage Wrap (Get the white stuff from any pharmacy, get the colored stuff from a tractor supply store in the animal health section, it will run 1 to 4 dollars)</li>
</ul>
